After the success of his remixes for Kettama and Kerri Chandler this summer Philip George wanted to follow that up with something a little more underground. Something for those dark, smokey vibey rooms as we head into autumn. As Philip loves those underground vibes, and Freak In Me is very much aimed at that feeling of being lost in the moment at 3am, eyes closed, head down. Proper clubbing. Such A Rush is in some ways the antidote to that. A more uplifting groove with filtered chords and a bassline for that big ‘lights on’ moment.
